Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of liquidity, operating capacity and gender diversity to financial distress. The theory used in this research is signaling theory and agency theory. Population in this research is transportation company listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2016-2020. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling and obtain as many as 125 samples. The research has done by analysis technique in the form of multiple linear regression. The result show that liquidity has positive effect on financial distress, operating capacity has negative effect on financial distress and gender diversity has positive effect on financial distress.
