Abstract

The era of globalization in Indonesia is rapidly increasing, requiring architecture students to be more creative and innovative. However, it doesn't stop there, architecture students are also required to have experience and keep up with technological developments in all fields, one of which is the construction sector. Architecture students not only learn to design and draw buildings but also have to understand construction techniques and field conditions as well as proper application of design in the world of work/field. But before that, of course, a prospective architect needs to master the basics of nice and correct design. This practical work report discusses the mechanism for planning and designing residential houses at CV. Tanah Air Studio. The job desk of the projects is planning from the beginning from the concept, schematic design, development design, and documentation. The results of this project are architectural drawings and rendering of buildings and interiors. Keywords: design and planning, residential house, townhouse.
