Abstract

The Practical Work course is one of the required courses for architecture students to study construction directly in the field. This learning aims to enable students to compare the knowledge gained in theory during their studies at the university with the knowledge gained in practice in the field. In this report, the author uses data collection methods in the form of literature studies of books, interviews with field supervisors, and direct observations in the field. The construction compared is the construction of walls, stairs and beams in the Ogan Permata Indah (OPI) II "Emerald Cluster Type 185" area in Palembang City. To get the right comparison, the author made direct observations from Wednesday, July 14, 2021 to Thursday, September 23, 2021.
