Abstract
The wide spread application of computer science in various fields, such as geographical areas, agriculture, tourism, medicine and others. Meanwhile, today's society is also increasingly independent. In general, people are aware that a variety of common ailments, such as colds or diarrhea, do not need the help of a health professional or medical complex. Such disturbances will heal on its own, even though without any treatment. The problem for people who are not medically trained is that such complaints of headache or cough can be an indication of an underlying serious illness. The best ones make parents feel anxious or helpless is sudden pain that impinge on their children, especially children who still can not explain the complaint or the baby. Judging from the condition of hydrocephalus disease in children and the lack of early initiation of treatment experts. Therefore, the authors designed an expert system application that will focus on early diagnosis of hydrocephalus disorders in children aged 0-12 months to children aged 10 years. The development of this application will be focused on the implementation of the forward chaining inference method in which this method of tracking back to find symptoms - common symptoms of hydrocephalus disorder sufferers to get type inference hydrocephalus disorders in children. The results of the implementation of an expert system application that is implemented this expert system effectively helps users especially for parents to detect early disease hydrocephalus in children before the parents consult with a medical expert.
