Abstract

Architecture is both an art and a science in designing buildings. The process of designing a building includes several processes covers design, construction, structure, and aspects of beauty. The presence of an architect is needed during the construction process to oversee development, therefore architectural students who are just learning to design are expected to have real experience about designing buildings through practical work before having the real work. The writing of this practical work report discusses the stages of the construction work process, especially the column and beam structure in the construction of the PT. Perdana Abadi Perkasa office bulding. The activities carried out in the observations are ironing processes to casting of column and beam structures. The results obtained are the stages of construction of column and beam structures as well as comparative analysis of column and beam construction work based on the theory learned and field observations.
