Abstract
In recent years, technology has developed very rapidly and rapidly. The use of high-tech tools such as computers, smartphones is very often found wherever we are. The use of this tool of course to help performance. As found at the Office of Communication and Information of the Province of South Sumatra, which is conducting a go-green program, one of the goals of which is to maintain cleanliness in the office. Due to the frequent accumulation of garbage at the Diskominfo office, the proposed system is a smart dustbin which has an Android-based application. The smart dustbin system was built using Arduino Uno module, Servo, Wifi Module, Load cell censor, and HC-SR04 sensor. From the creation of this system, it is hoped that it can help the South Sumatra Diskominfo office staff in overcoming the buildup of garbage in the office, as well as to add the functions of this system, several new features can be added at the end of the report.
