Abstract

Although the use of technology is very beneficial, it also has negative impacts such as the risk of being exposed to negative content. Negative content is pornographic images, gambling, fraud, harassment, defamation and fake news. Ministry of Communication and Informatics of South Sumatra Province is an organization tasked with providing negative content filtering services. In the current situation, Diskominfo can often receive reports with many attachments of evidence that may not be appropriate which must be examined one by one, thus consuming excessive time and slowing down the follow-up of negative content reports. Therefore, a negative content identification application design was made at the Ministry of Communication and Information of the South Sumatra Province with the aim of saving the time needed to identify certain negative content so as to speed up the follow-up to these reports and reduce the number of people exposed to negative contents. This application design is made with a prototyping system development methodology and this application design is designed to require a MYSQL database and XAMPP application version 3.2.4. The results of the designs that have been successfully created are designs in the form of DFD, ERD, flowcharts and interface designs that are ready to be used to create negative content identification applications.
