Abstract

Van Deventer Foundation is a foundation that is a point of attention in the world of education and in some limited areas of expertise that aims to empower youth - girls in Indonesia to be able to become more independent. Van Deventer Foundation in collaboration with the Palembang Musi Foundation provides scholarships for students / i High School Musi. Student Affairs Technical High School Musi as part of the decision-makers in selecting scholarship recipients requiring a decision support system. This decision support system used to aid in decision making scholarships Van Deventer. Decision support system grantee Van Deventer is constructed using Composite Performance Index (CPI). CPI methods in this system is able to calculate the value of the i-th alternative on the j-th criterion value and generate the best alternative from a number of alternatives. Alternatives here are students selected. Of the several criteria into sub-criteria - j which has to be calculated to obtain the average CPI criteria before the run. The results of the calculations on this system resulted in the calculation of the total value of each alternative, where the greatest value will be recommended to receive a scholarship.
