Abstract

Ease of openness and access to information, giving more possibilities to unauthorized or irresponsible person to copy or conduct illegal duplication of an image. One solution to overcome this problem is by giving watermark as ownership label of an image using watermarking technique. In this study, we applied the spread spectrum technique, which is one of watermarking techniques with fast fourier transform, the objective testing PSNR showed good result with average above 37.5 dB. While the result of robustness test for cropping was bad because this process is used to resize the image so that some bits of the watermark were not identified back during the extraction process.
