Abstract

Work system is an important factor at organization/company. Good work system can facilitate the work processes and lead to increased productivity. The work system was designed on the Rico Hermanto Course, as an anticipation and improvement of the work system affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The tutoring system which was originally face-to-face directly has changed to online, so this requires adjustments so that the work process run smoothly. The research method used to design this work system is the 5S method which is equipped with ergonomics methods. The data used are questionnaires, Nordic Body Map, performance data in the form of task completion and student score. From the results of this study, it was found that a work culture with 5S principles consists of seiri (sorting), seiton (arrangement), seiso (cleaning), seiketsu (consolidation), and shitsuke (habituation) and is equipped with work from home ergonomics guidelines. After the implementation, the results of the improvement in the performance of assistants/teachers with indicators of task completion increased by 30.3% and an increase in tutoring test scores and student test scores. Then the value of the customer satisfaction index after being converted is 82.35 which is included in the category of Good service quality.
