Abstract
Background : Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) is a virus that causes Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS). Teenagers consider that MSM, often having multiple partners in having sex, having unnatural sex such as through mouth and anal is a trend that must be followed without realizing the impact it has on HIV/AIDS. So that it increases the incidence of HIV / AIDS in adolescents.. Objective: This study aims to determine the differences in adolescent attitudes towards the risk of HIV/AIDS before and after education. Methods: This type of research is quantitative, the research method uses a pre-experimental method with a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design approach. The population in this study 107 respondents. Sampling using purposive sampling technique in order to obtain a sample of 57 respondents. The intervention was carried out by providing education on HIV/AIDS prevention through leaflets. The data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon sign test. Result : The result of this research is that the majority of respondents are 16 years old, the sex is 51 (89.5%). The results of the statistical analysis of the Wilcoxon Sign Test obtained a p-value of 0.001 (<0.05), meaning that there was a significant difference between the attitudes of adolescents at risk of HIV/AIDS before and after education.
