Abstract

Pak Romi UKM is an UKM that manages old coconut. This UKM manages old coconut by peeling coconut fibers and will be sold to the market, which has a target of 1000 pieces per day with 2 employees. Target 1000 for demands from his own boss. In the stripping process must have the maximum power so that the target is met. Therefore the researchers designed a coconut peeling based on ergonomic anthropometry. Keelapa peeling is shaped like a bicycle and has a dimension size 85cm tool length, 70cm height tool, 30cm width, 18cm blade height, 2cm blade width, 20cm saddle width, 60cm saddle foot height, one slide length 49cm, slide width first one 17cm, first slide height 10cm, second slide length 45cm, second slide width 18cm, second slide height10cm, tool tread width 8.5cm, tool tread length 55.5cm, right foot tread distance 14cm, left foot tread distance 14cm , the length of the legs of the 25cm slide with a weight of 20kg. The average coconut peeling time is 48 seconds / item, and the classification of Nordic body map can correct complaints from employees. Based on% CVL, it also shows that employees do not experience fatigue and classification of light workloads. The cost for designing this tool is IDR 1.186,000.
