Abstract

Background: A healthy house is a house that has infrastructure and facilities such as the provision of clean water and waste disposal sanitation. A healthy house condition is highly important because an unhealthy house will contribute to the health effects and risks. Knowledge is a process of recalling and reidentifying objects that have been previously learned towards a particular field through five senses. Purpose: This research aims to identify Portrait of Knowledge on Healthy House Standard at the Community of Urban Village X Palembang. Method: This quantitative research type employed the Descriptive Survey method. The total Sampling technique that involved 42 families was used to collect the data. The data were analyzed by using univariate analysis to identify the characteristics (Age, Gender, Education) and knowledge on healthy house standards at the Community of Urban Village X Palembang. Result: The average age of the respondents was 42.83 years. The majority of the respondents were male (83.3%), graduated from Elementary School (85.7%), and had good knowledge (61.9%). Suggestion: The result of this research is expected to be a source of information related to knowledge about healthy house standards and to provide information dealing with the requirements of a healthy house.
