Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of leverage and liquidity on financial distress. The data used is secondary data. The population in this study are companies in the infrastructure, utility, and transportation sectors listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2017-2019. Sampling was done by purposive sampling method with a total sample of 131. The data analysis used to test the hypothesis was multiple linear regression and using SPSS version 23. The results of this study indicate that leverage and liquidity had no effect on financial distress. Key words: Leverage, Liquidity, Financial Distress
