Abstract

The growth of optimal school-age children depends on the provision of nutrition with good quality and quantity as well as true. The purpose of this research is to Know Breakfast Relation with Concentration Concentration Learning at High School Student Class XI in Palembang city. Type of research using quantitative by using cross sectional design. Sampling technique in this research using simple random sampling technique by drawing member of population (lottery technique) with number of sample 132 student at High School Student XI Class in Palembang City. The result of univariate analysis showed that 62,9% students had good breakfast frequency, 69,7% students consumed complete breakfast type, 93,2% students consumed less breakfast and 74,2% good. The result of bivariate analysis is known that there is relation of breakfast frequency and type of breakfast food with concentration of learning at High School Student XI Grade Student in Palembang City, with p value = 0,001 and no relation Amount of breakfast serving with concentration of study at High School Student Class XI with p value = 0.235. Expected to the high school in Palembang city to make compulsory breakfast policy for the students to improve the power Learning Concentration.
