Abstract
This study aims to examine the factors that can affect the performance of accounting information systems. This test uses five factors that affect the performance of AIS is the involvement of the user in system development, engineering capabilities of personal, organizational size, top management support and formalization of information systems development. The samples in this study were employees in the banking companies use information systems. Hypothesis testing using multiple regression analysis with SPSS version 17. results show first hypothesis (H1) is accepted namely that user involvement in the development of the system significant positive effect on the performance of accounting information systems. While the second hypothesis is rejected until the fifth hypothesis that the ability of personal technique, the size of the organization, top management support, and the formalization of system development is not significant positive effect on the performance of accounting information systems.
