Abstract

The molding machine of Areta Agung SME (small and medium enterprises), which is used for the brick and paving block process, is not yet working effectively. This is indicated by the problem of damage to the printing machine as a result of decreased productivity on the printing machine. Under these conditions, it is seen that there is a decrease in production productivity at Areta Agung SME. This study aims to analyze the reliability of the molding machine using the fishbone chart method and measure the performance of the machine after holding with the Partial Productivity method. The fishbone chart is shaped similar to a fishbone facing the right. This chart will have an impact on the impact or result of a problem, with various causes. The research will also use the Partial Productivity method to see the amount of productivity increase in molding machine after they are damaged. Technique data obtained through interviews with the owner of Areta Agung SME and related workers and internal data of Areta Agung SME especially data related to machine reliability, namely the amount of production before and after, working time, number of operators, damage components, production costs, and repair solutions. The previous machines were only able to produce 28691 bricks and 38769 Paving Blocks. So, as difficult as repairing them, they became 40736 and 61589 Paving Blocks.
