Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of job satisfaction on production department employee performance in the factory of PT. Daya Kobelco Palembang. In this study, the population is taken employees in factory of PT. Daya Kobelco Palembang. Samples taken are all production department employees, amounting to 35 employees. Analytical techniques used to process the data that are validity testing, reliability testing, classical assumption test, and simple linear regression analyzed that are done by using software special package for social sciences (SPSS) version 17.00. Validity of test results for the variable employees’s job satisfaction and employee performance count is valid for r greater than r table. Reliability test results remedy variable job satisfaction and employee performance is reliable because the Cronbach’s Alpha Based on the above items Standarized 0,6. Based on the results of test, t value obtained was 11, 806 with a significance level 0,000, adjusted s square of 0,803, indicating that job satisfaction has a significant influence on the performance PT. Daya Kobelco 80,3%.
