Abstract

The advancement of an area like Palembang City will attract a lot of public interest, one of which is in terms of education, especially in college. The higher the student's interest in lectures, the more new buildings will be able to accommodate students in the learning process. Limited land for new building developments, vertical building construction is one solution to this problem. In this case, the construction of the Faculty of Computer Science Building, Sriwijaya University, Palembang is one of the many buildings that are planning an additional floor which is planned to have 7 floors of lecture rooms. The existing high-rise buildings must also meet aspects, one of which is the aspect or utility system which must cover aspects of comfort, safety, and feasibility. CV. Aprillia is one of the holders of the project to add a floor to the Computer Science Faculty building. The projects that were undertaken were starting from wall installation, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, to finishing. Keywords: architecture students, utilities, educational buildings
