Abstract

This practical work aims to gain knowledge about the process of wall work, clean water, and dirty water at the Palembang Open University. Practical work is one of the requirements towards the final project of the Architecture Study Program. In this case the author will observe the Open University building in the Wallwork, Clean Water, and Dirty Water section which has architectural knowledge that can be used in real life, so it is quite interesting to discuss and study for the author's report. The author will make a report on this practical work as proof of the architectural knowledge that the author acquired during his study at Musi Charitas Catholic University, Palembang. Data collection techniques are carried out by direct observation or direct interviews with parties involved in the development of the Palembang Open University. It is used to obtain data for practical work reports. After that, the data were analyzed descriptively, quantitatively and qualitatively. The results of the author's practical work show that, the Palembang Open University has an interesting and comprehensive architectural knowledge that can be used as a reference for learning architecture in Indonesia as well as a design idea that can be studied by students.
