Abstract

This study aims to gain knowledge about the benefits of artificial and natural lighting in an architectural design that has occurred and can be observed directly. This research can be used in real-life applications, especially in designing architectural works by an architect, lighting is a very valuable attraction in sub-learning architecture, especially among other architectural sciences. With the existence of good lighting in the model elements can determine the useful capacity emitted by a building function that is used for humans. The data collection technique was carried out by direct observation to the lecturer room, especially using applications used to analyze the movement of "Ecotech" light. Then the data were analyzed descriptively, quantitatively and qualitatively. The results of the analysis show that the lighting of the architecture Office room of science and technology faculty in the science and technology faculty building can be used as an example or a race to design lighting in certain rooms. then it can be used as a reference for learning architecture in Indonesia as well as a design idea that can be studied by architecture students.
