Abstract

Cows are livestock’s that have much high economic potential. Cows also served as protein source that is needed, because there are so many high nutrients in the cows’ bodies but practically there are still many problems in creating a good and having high nutrient cow’s meat that caused by the lack of optimum upkeep for the cows, such as; preventing diseases on cows and taking care of the cows. It really interferes with the growth and productivity of livestock. Like what happened at BPTU in Sembawa on handling cows’ diseases, BPTU still facing some difficulties. One of the ways to handle cows’ diseases is by utilizing the information system in the form of expert’s system application. This system uses the result of cows’ diseases’ diagnose and handling solution based on visible symptoms. The certainty factor (CF) is needed for this case. The result of this research is the expert’s system application that can be used to illustrate the cows’ diseases directly at BPTU in Sembawa.
