Abstract

This study aims to determine whether managerial ownership variables are able to moderate the relationship between the extent of intellectual capital disclosure to firm value. The theories used in this study are Information Asymmetry Theory and Signaling Theory. The population is a banking company in Indonesia in 2014-2018, while the sample is a banking sector company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange 2014-2018 with a total sample of 70 samples. The data analysis technique used is moderated regression analysis to determine whether managerial ownership is able to moderate the relationship between the extent of intellectual capital disclosure and firm value. The results obtained indicate that managerial ownership variables are not able to moderate the relationship between the extent of intellectual capital disclosure and firm value.
