South Sumatra as one of the provinces in Indonesia has a wealth of geoscience that can be documented and exhibited to the general public. South Sumatra capital of Palembang as certainly need to have a place that can be a container of geoscience documentation activity in Sumatra Selatan. Containers of this activity is still owned by the city of Palembang so Palembang not have a proper documentation of earth science. It is really unfortunate considering the large collection of geoscience in South Sumatra, such as the types of geographic, geological wealth of natural resources and mining in South Sumatra. Therefore, designing a Museum of Geology is one of resolving the issue in Palembang. Museum of Geology in Palembang will use the theme Skin Earth either from the building design or landscaping at the site.
