Abstract

Technological progress is increasingly rapid and even makes humans almost inseparable from the technology itself. Without realizing it, humans always use technology in various ways. We can see the increasing use of this technology from almost all companies using computer systems. However, not all companies use computerized systems in their companies. For example at PT. Cakra Indo Pratama, which has many divisions such as leasing, sales, purchasing and so on, but has not used a computer system in its company due to a lack of experts in the computer field. In fact, on the other hand the need for a computerized system is needed for better results with less time, effort and cost. Then from that it will be designed a heavy equipment rental application at PT. Chakra Indo Pratama. The design of the application uses a prototype system development model and uses Balsamiq Mockups as its design and Visio design for an overview of program and database designs. This application is very much needed by PT. Cakra Indo Pratama because in the company there is no system for heavy equipment leasing transactions, so the rental data is archived on paper that is often redundant, scattered and lost data.
