Abstract

The research is titled "EFFECT OF LEADERSHIP STYLE AND CHARACTERISTICS OF MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTING SYSTEM BROADSCOPE TOWARDS MANAGERIAL PERFORMANCE IN THE REGION PALEMBANG IN MANUFACTURING COMPANY", by Steven Hermansyah.This research is led by Mr. M. Y. Dedi Haryanto, S.E., M.Sc. Ak .. This study aims to determine the effect of leadership style and characteristics of management accounting systems broadscope on managerial performance manufacturing companies in the region of Palembang. This type of research is called field studies. The population in this study is manager in a manufacturing company. The population in this study were as many as 63 people. Based on the formulation of the problem presented and the results of the analysis and discussion that has been obtained, then the conclusion can be drawn, among others, is that there is the influence of leadership style and characteristics of management accounting systems on managerial performance broadscope in manufacturing companies in the city of Palembang simultaneously. However, the partial variables of leadership style has no effect on managerial performance (H1), the variable characteristics of the management accounting system broadscope (H2) have an influence on managerial performance, as well as the variables of leadership style and characteristics of management accounting systems broadscope effect on managerial performance (H3).
