Abstract
Background: Maternal Mortality in Indonesia by the Directorate of Family Health in 2016 when This has increased by 359 / 100,000 live births and in 2012 for the infant mortality rate can be said to continue to decline indicates the number 32/1000 KH. Maternal mortality and infant mortality can be dominated by the three main causes are hemorrhage, eclampsia and infections. Aim: This study aims to determine the relationship of family support for compliance antenatal pregnant woman. Method: This study was descriptive analytic with cross sectional design. The subjects of this study III Trimester pregnant women who do prenatal care. Sampling using accidental sampling with a sample size of 50 respondents in accordance with the criteria for inclusion exclusion. Data analysis used Fisher exact test with a significance level of 0.05. The study was conducted in Palembang Myria Poli Hospital. Results: Fisher exact test based on test found no relation between family support adherence antenatal pregnant woman with a significance level (p = 0.05). Conclusion: Respondents in this study to get family support as many as 48 (96.0%), respondents who dutifully perform pregnancy tests as many as 31 (62.0%). The results of analysis by Fisher exact test trials concluded there is no relationship between family support adherence antenatal pregnant woman. Suggestion: The family continues to provide support to increase motivation in pregnant women for antenatal.
