Abstract

The objective of this study is to examine and analyze the effects of job satisfaction and workload on the performance of J&T Express couriers in Palembang. The present study employed a quantitative approach with saturated sampling, in which all J&T Express couriers in Palembang were included as the research sample. The data were collected through interviews and questionnaires and subsequently analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS. The findings indicate that job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on the performance of J&T Express couriers in Palembang. This finding indicates that higher levels of job satisfaction are associated with better performance. Furthermore, workload has a negative and significant effect on performance, indicating that higher levels of workload are associated with lower courier performance. Simultaneously, job satisfaction and workload have a significant effect on the performance of J&T Express couriers in Palembang. Therefore, job satisfaction and workload are factors that influence the performance of J&T Express couriers in Palembang.
