This study investigates the utilization of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools in thesis writing among undergraduate students at Musi Charitas Catholic University. As AI becomes increasingly embedded in academic practices, understanding its role in student writing is crucial. Employing a descriptive quantitative research design, the study explores how students use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Grammarly, and QuillBot in developing their undergraduate theses. The research focuses on the frequency and purpose of AI usage, perceived benefits and drawbacks, and ethical concerns. Data were gathered using a validated questionnaire distributed to students currently engaged in thesis writing. Validity and reliability were established through expert review, pilot testing, and statistical analysis using SPSS version 22. Findings are analyzed through descriptive statistics, including frequency, mean, and standard deviation. The study aims to contribute valuable insights for educators, institutions, and students on the responsible and effective integration of AI in academic writing.
