Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effect of compensation and work environment on employee job satisfaction among culinary MSMEs in Palembang City. This study used a quantitative approach with questionnaires distributed to 150 employees of culinary MSMEs in Palembang City. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS. The results showed that compensation had a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction. The work environment also had a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction. These findings indicate that better compensation and a more comfortable work environment can increase employee job satisfaction among culinary MSMEs in Palembang City.
