Abstract

Chinese Cultural Center in Palembang is a facility to accommodate and introduce all form of Chinese culture that through the medium of a building Culture Gallery, Cultural Training, staging Auditorium, Souvenir Shop, and a typical Chinese restaurant. Chinese Cultural Center in Palembang shows traditional Chinese architectural design theme that is appropriate Oriental architecture with characteristic views of a rectangular floor plan, roof arch, bright colors, such as entrance gates, compound and symmetric mass and also ornaments typical Chinese elements building. In addition, addressing the elements in the design of the macro environment form the majority of the Chinese community, the building of worship such as temples and pagoda to become part of it. Hopefully, by the Chinese Cultural Center in Palembang can be iconic cultural sphere, especially in the Chinese community culture and also a place of recreation and nature tourism education.
