Abstract

This study aims to develop a learning media based on a Virtual Tour of the Sriwijaya Archaeological Park Museum for teaching geometry in Grade II at SD Xaverius 02 Palembang. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, consisting of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The research subjects were 3 students in the one-to-one trial, 6 students in the small group trial, and 29 students in the field test. Data were collected through documentation, interviews, tests, and questionnaires, and analyzed using descriptive quantitative methods. The results of expert validation indicated that the developed media was in the very valid category (87.8%). Student trials showed a practicality level of 91% and effectiveness of 95.73%, with positive responses stating that the media was engaging, enjoyable, and helpful in understanding geometric concepts. Therefore, this virtual tour learning media is declared feasible and can serve as an alternative innovative technology-based learning tool that provides a contextual and meaningful learning experience for elementary school students.
