Abstract

Japanese culture and arts center is a vehicle that is provided for people who love and want to learn Japanese culture and art. Arts and cultural center is planned and designed to as a forum for the appreciation of the channel, and the media to learn about art and culture and Japanese culture both modern and traditional art. The cultural center was designed by Japanese architecture and oriental style accompanied with dojo facilities, tea house and occupancy. Japanese culture and arts center on the theme of "Dynamic Japan" was built with the modern with the traditional concept displays typical Japanese architecture. The main reference of this concept is the philosophy of traditional Japanese Zen architecture. Utilization and the preparation of a hierarchy adapted to Japanese culture and art. Site locations were selected for the planning and design of cultural and artistic center of this is the former. Tax office, Kambang region Iwak, Small Bukit Palembang. This location was chosen because Kambang Iwak is one of the local tourist destination in Palembang as well as many community organizations as well as lovers of Japanese who often gather here to share information and learn the art and culture of Japan. Kambang Iwak has advantages in infrastructure, natural reforestation, public facilities, transportation, and flood-free.
