Abstract

This internship was conducted at PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang, specifically in the Systems Management and Innovation Department, with the objective of analyzing employees’ mental workload. The method used in this study was the NASA Task Load Index (NASA-TLX), which measures mental workload based on six main indicators. Data were collected through the distribution of questionnaires to employees and subsequently processed to obtain the Weighted Workload (WWL) score. In addition, data uniformity and data adequacy tests were conducted to ensure the validity of the research data. The results indicate that the employees’ mental workload falls within the moderate to high category, with Mental Demand and Effort identified as the dominant contributing factors. These findings are expected to serve as a reference for evaluating and managing employees’ mental workload.
