Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of soft skills and work motivation on the work readiness of Generation Z students in Palembang City. The type of research used in this study is empirical. The population in this study is all Generation Z students in Palembang City and the sample in this study is Generation Z students in Palembang City who are working on their thesis or final assignment, totaling 151 people. The sampling technique used in this study is purposive sampling. The data collection technique used is a questionnaire. The analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study indicate that the variables of soft skills and work motivation have a positive and significant effect on the work readiness of Generation Z students in Palembang City both partially and simultaneously.
