Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of user acceptance of digital cinema ticket booking applications in Indonesia using the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2 (UTAUT-2) model. The variables examined include performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, hedonic motivation, price value, and habit on behavioral intention and use behavior. The study employed primary data collected through an online questionnaire distributed to 278 respondents who are active users of digital cinema ticket booking applications in Indonesia. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with a snowballing approach. Data analysis was conducted using the Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method with the assistance of SmartPLS 4.0. The results indicate that effort expectancy, social influence, hedonic motivation, price value, and habit have a significant effect on behavioral intention, while facilitating conditions, habit, and behavioral intention significantly influence use behavior
