Abstract
This study aims to examine and analyze the influence of Non-Performing Loans (NPLs) and Loan-to-Deposit Ratio (LDR) on Financial Sustainability (FS) in the banking sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2017–2024 period. The data used are secondary data sourced from sustainability reports, annual financial reports, and official publications of the Financial Services Authority (OJK). The data type is an unbalanced panel, because not all banks have complete sustainability reports for each observation year. Data support analysis was performed using multiple linear regression with SPSS software. The population of this study was all banks that have gone public and published sustainability reports. The sampling technique used was a purposive sampling method with a purposive sampling approach. Of the 173 initial samples that met the research criteria, only 170 samples could be used after going through the data transformation process and outlier handling. The results showed that NPLs had a negative and significant effect on FS, which means that an increase in the level of non-performing loans will reduce the bank's ability to maintain long-term financial sustainability. Meanwhile, LDR had no effect on FS.
