Abstract

This fieldwork project aims to design a web-based student academic score classification system for Bimbel After School Education Center using the C4.5 algorithm as the foundation for developing a more structured academic evaluation system. The project activities were carried out through observation of the existing administrative processes, interviews with the administrative staff, and a literature study related to classification systems and the C4.5 algorithm. The system design was developed using the prototype model, resulting in several design artefacts, including a context diagram, Data Flow Diagram (DFD), Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD), a C4.5 process flowchart, and user interface designs. The results of the fieldwork show that the design provides a structured overview of the system workflow, data requirements, and the classification process that will be implemented in the next development stage. This design is expected to serve as a strong foundation for future system implementation and to support a more effective academic evaluation process at the tutoring center.
