Abstract

Palembang is one of the largest cities in Indonesia. As one of the largest cities, the unemployment rate in Palembang is quite high. One of the reasons for the high unemployment rate is the lack of skills among the human resources that match the current industry needs. Due to this lack of skills, there is a need for a facility to train and educate the human resources in Palembang. This facility is the Industrial Training Center, which is a place to train, educate, and guide industry players. The Industrial Training Center will be designed using a leveling-up theme with an analogy concept approach so that the design's existence can be felt by both users and building enthusiasts. The design method used involves data collection (observation and literature study). With the existence of Industrial Training Center, it is hoped that the unemployment rate in Palembang can be reduced.
