Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has opened various possibilities for enhancing the effectiveness and operational efficiency of companies. PT Teguh Asia Mandiri, a company specializing in the production and distribution of snacks, faces significant challenges in managing the administration of damaged goods or bad stock. Based on observations and interviews, it was found that the current recording process for bad stock is still conducted conventionally using paper forms and manual recapitulation. This method leads to risks such as document loss, delayed reporting, and frequent stock discrepancies. This internship aims to design and develop a web-based bad stock management system to automate damaged goods data collection. The system development methodology used in this study is the Waterfall model, encompassing requirements analysis, design, implementation, and testing phases. The system is built using Native PHP as the primary programming language, MySQL for database management, and Bootstrap for front-end development. Key features include visual evidence validation for damage and automated stock logic separation to distinguish salable stock from damaged goods. The result of this internship is a web application capable of improving inventory information accuracy and reliability, minimizing human error, and accelerating real-time loss reporting for the management of PT Teguh Asia Mandiri.
