Abstract

This internship produced the design of a web-based attendance application for After School Education Center by implementing the Haversine algorithm to validate teacher location during check-in and check-out. The design was developed through observation, interviews, and requirements analysis, which were then translated into a context diagram, DFD, ERD, flowcharts, and user interface mockups for both admin and teacher roles. The proposed application supports attendance recording within a 15-meter radius of the bimbel location, displays daily attendance history, and provides monthly recaps that can be downloaded. Admins can manage teacher data, add attendance manually when technical issues occur, and access recaps by grade level. The resulting design offers a complete overview of a location-based attendance application that is more accurate, practical, and aligned with the operational needs of the institution.
