Abstract

This study aims develop a Plotagon-based digital application learning video for Civic Education (PPKn) in Grade III at Xaverius 3 Elementary School Palembang, with the competency achievement of enabling students to understand the values of Pancasila and apply them in attitudes, behaviors, and daily interactions in accordance with the 2013 curriculum. The study also seeks to examine the effectiveness, practicality, and student responses toward the video. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects were third-grade elementary school students, consisting of 3 students in the one-to-one stage, 6 students in the small group stage, and 15 students in the field test stage. Data were collected through interviews, tests, and questionnaires.The results of the study showed that the developed learning video was declared feasible based on expert validation, with a feasibility percentage of 79.2% from material experts (valid category), 96.4% from language experts (very valid category), and 62.5% from video experts (fairly practical category). At the student trial stage, the video obtained a percentage of 86.67% in the one-to-one test (very practical category) and 77% in the small group test (practical category), with an average of 81.83%, which falls into the practical category. Furthermore, the field test results showed an average percentage of 80% in the very practical category. Overall, these findings confirm that the Plotagon-based learning video developed is practical and effective for use in the learning process and received positive responses from the majority of students.
