Abstract

Cracker & Kemplang 369 Industry’s an industry engaged in the production of crackers & kemplang. the observation that has been carried out, there’s a problem where sales in the market are increasing but are constrained by production output that does’t increase. To produce new products, the industry does extra work by increasing working time.. Therefore, it’s necessary to conduct research design new layout on the printing machine & also be able to get the proximity between workstations in order to speed up the production process & increase productivity. solution in this problem is use the Systematic Layout Plan method. application of this method to design a new layout requires area data, calculation of the distance between machines, & also applying an activity relationship chart. From the results of the new layout design, it was found that productivity increased, in one day the industry was able to produce as much 3000kg from the initial layout only producing 2000kg & got a close distance between workstations by following the flow of production flow. As well as getting production time efficiency where the production process time only 9 hours from the production process time of the initial layout which can take 9-12 hours.
