Abstract

Midwifery care during pregnancy, childbirth, newborn, postpartum and neonates is very important for the survival of mothers and babies. The World Health Organization (WHO) reported that the Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) worldwide in 2023 is 287.000 people, in Indonesia the MMR during 2020 was 189/100,000 KH, and during 2024 in Palembang the MMR was 18 people and the IMR was 656 people. The purpose of providing this COC is due to reduce the MMR and IMR. This task was conducted from July 1, 2024 to January 4, 2025 at Independent Practice Midwife “K” Palembang starting from the first trimester of pregnancy, childbirth, newborns, postpartum, and neonates. The method used to provide COC Midwifery Care to Mrs. "I" is based on the spiritual values of Charitas. Primary and secondary data by using SOAP notes were implemented to collect the data. The results showed that during pregnancy from the first to third trimester, Mrs. "I" did not have any complications. She also experienced full- term and normal delivery. In addition, newborns, postpartum period, and neonates proceeded normally. To conclude, the COC Midwifery Care carried out on Mrs. "I" during pregnancy, delivery, newborns, postpartum and neonates took place within normal limits and Mrs. "I" was cooperative during midwifery care and able to apply the the spiritual values of Charitas. Finally the Independent Practice is recommended to maintain and improve the quality of services provided to clients.
