Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the influence of workload and work motivation on the performance of minimarket employees in Palembang City. The type of approach used in this research is quantitative. The sampling technique used is Non-Probability Sampling with Purposive Sampling, determined based on specific criteria, including being a permanent employee, having worked for at least one (1) year, and serving in customer service positions such as cashier, shop attendant, and similar roles. Data collection techniques involve the distribution of printed questionnaires and interviews. The data analysis technique in this study uses multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS version 21 software. The results indicate that workload has a positive and significant influence on the performance of minimarket employees in Palembang City. Furthermore, work motivation also has a positive and significant influence on the performance of minimarket employees in Palembang City.
