Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the variables of income, financial literacy, and self-control have an influence on the consumptive behavior of K-Pop fans in the city of Palembang. The theory used in this research is the Theory of Planned Behavior with an Quantitative research type. The population in this study consists of K-Pop fans residing in Palembang who actively participate in K-Pop related activities, with a sample size of 155 respondents. The analytical technique used is multiple regression analysis using SPSS version 23 to determine the influence of the variables of income, financial literacy, and self-control on the consumptive behavior of K-Pop fans. The results obtained from this study indicate that the income variable has a significant positive influence on the consumptive behavior of K-Pop fans, while the financial literacy and self-control variables have a negative influence on K-Pop fans.
