Abstract
An orphanage is a child welfare institution that functions as a place to accommodate and care for orphaned, orphaned or abandoned children. However, the lack of adequate building design for children means that children's welfare and comfort have not been achieved. The redesign of the Santa Maria Orphanage is a solution to make the orphanage a suitable place for children. By rearranging, replacing expanding the building through rebuilding by considering children's behavior as a reference, which uses the theme of unity in diversity which is directly related to the behavior of children who are different but united in one environment to form a family atmosphere. The planning for the redesign of the Santa Maria Orphanage is expected to increase enthusiasm for the orphanage's children so that they feel comfortable in their daily lives.
