Abstract

This study aims to produce animated video media in Mathematics learning for grade III on fraction material at SDK Frater Xaverius 2 Palembang that meets valid, practical standards, and has potential effects. This study is a research and development study with the ADDIE research model. The stages carried out in this study are: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The subjects of the study included students in grades IIIA and IIIC of SDK Frater Xaverius 2 Palembang. Data collection techniques include interviews, documentation, questionnaires, and tests. While the data analysis technique uses Tessmer's theory. The results of this study obtained a percentage score from media experts of 97%, material experts 100%, and language experts 93% which means very valid. The results of student responses during one-to-one were 98%, small groups 97%, and submitting tests 81% with a very practical category. Meanwhile, the test results got an average score of 82% which is classified as very effective. Based on these results, animated video media can be said to be valid, practical and has potential effects.
