Abstract
Individuals from Broken Homes have past experiences that can influence their views on their hopes and goals in life. The purpose of this study is to explore the dynamics of hopes in individuals from Broken Homes. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. This study requires participants with the criteria of being between 18-25 years old and having divorced parents. The data collection technique in this study was through interviews and analyzed using the IPA technique. The results of this study indicate that there is hope from the participants to build a more harmonious family in the future in order to have different conditions from the family conditions that have been experienced at this time.
