Abstract
DEVELOPMENT OF POP-UP BOOK LEARNING MEDIA TO IMPROVE STUDENTS' UNDERSTANDING OF PANCASILA CLASS III SD XAVERIUS 1 PALEMBANG. This research aims to develop Pop-Up Book learning media to improve students' understanding of Pancasila subjects with the theme Differences Around Us in grade III of SD Xaverius 1 Palembang. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model which consists of the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. The research subjects consisted of 3 students at the one-to-one stage, 6 students at the small group stage, and 25 students at the field test stage. The object of the research is the Pop-Up Book media that was developed. Data is collected through documentation, interviews, tests, and questionnaires. The results showed that the Pop-Up Book media had a validity level of 87.82% (very valid), practicality of 85.92% (very practical), and potential effect of 84.4% (effective in improving students' understanding). Thus, this media can be used as an alternative learning source that is interesting and innovative in learning Pancasila in grade III. Keywords: Pancasila, Pop-Up Book, ADDIE, Differences Around Us.
